Looking back at the past 9 years of Luke’s life

My oldest is 9 on Sunday. I am going to CRY as I watch him blow out the candles. I can not believe he is getting so old!! Maybe I see it because we are about to have another child and to go from an infant to a 9 yr old, just blows me away! I see how fast life goes. I see how fast they grow up!!

I am so proud of Luke. He is outgoing, nice to others and in love with God. I pray that Kurt and I have strength to be the BEST parents and to be there for Luke as he continues his journey.

Little did we know that right off the bat, Luke was unable to swallow. He coughed all the time for the first 1o months and we later found out he aspirated when he swallowed, which means his food went into his lungs. He would cough it up and then it would go back over his throat into his lungs. Needless to say after going through 7 doctors before the age of 10 months, we finally figured it out. UGH!! Horrible but we managed and figured it all out.

Pour Luke probably never thought mom and dad would take so many photos of him growing up. One of our favorite things to do when he was younger was going to get ice cream downtown noblesville and then take a walk.

Brad & Laura have TWINS and they are too cute!! We photographed the girls at Noblesville Forest Park a few weeks ago.

Amber & Antione in LOVE

Amber & Antione were married on August 21, 2010. They had a beautiful wedding at the Marriott downtown Indiana. The wedding party was a blast, I had a lot of fun with them. I also enjoyed watching Antione, he showed everyone how much he LOVES Amber. Antione did not take his eyes off her during their first dance.

I have never shot a wedding where the bride and groom already have the SAME last name. Pretty cool!! Rebecca was a beautiful bride, she has the BEST smile and I love her joy that she just shows naturally. Rebecca was one of my favorite students in high school photography class, so when she called me to take her wedding photos, I was VERY excited!

The Hamm family is the BEST. Not only did they wake up early and drive up North, they are so patient with their busy kids. I secretly watch parents and see how they can get the kids to smile the the Hamm family is so gentle and kind that I just love it!
