Looking towards the 2012 year.

I am going to try and say NO this year. I need to be available to my 3 kids.

Luke is playing Travel Baseball and that will require me to be there every weekend.

Owen will play in house baseball and he wants to try out for travel team as well. So this Spring and Summer will have us at the Noblesville Baseball fields!!

Maxine is 9 months and starting to stand and walk around stuff. She is changing so fast and I am loving her!

I have 3 or 4 weddings set for this year and that might be all I can handle. I am open to a FEW photo sessions in the FALL, so let me look and set a FEW days aside, otherwise – I am going to say NO this year so I can be there for my 3 kids.

A busy time for biz & family

I am alive. I just can not get on the computer as much!! I am taking lots of photos right now but I do not have enough time to blog all of the photo sessions. I have to take care of my 3 kids!!

Well it is over due but here is a blog about the birth of our 3rd child, Maxine Helen Hostetler.

Maxine was born on March 15th at 8:30 am. Everything went well, much easier than the other 2 kids.

Looking back at the past 9 years of Luke’s life

My oldest is 9 on Sunday. I am going to CRY as I watch him blow out the candles. I can not believe he is getting so old!! Maybe I see it because we are about to have another child and to go from an infant to a 9 yr old, just blows me away! I see how fast life goes. I see how fast they grow up!!

I am so proud of Luke. He is outgoing, nice to others and in love with God. I pray that Kurt and I have strength to be the BEST parents and to be there for Luke as he continues his journey.

Little did we know that right off the bat, Luke was unable to swallow. He coughed all the time for the first 1o months and we later found out he aspirated when he swallowed, which means his food went into his lungs. He would cough it up and then it would go back over his throat into his lungs. Needless to say after going through 7 doctors before the age of 10 months, we finally figured it out. UGH!! Horrible but we managed and figured it all out.

Pour Luke probably never thought mom and dad would take so many photos of him growing up. One of our favorite things to do when he was younger was going to get ice cream downtown noblesville and then take a walk.

Oh my goodness!! Kevin Swan at LNHS

I teach high school photography at Lawrence North High School. We had a project where we looked at professional blogs and we looked at Kevin Swan‘s.

The kids were dying to know this guy and wanted him to come in and talk, so I emailed Kevin. Kevin is such a nice guy!! He visited today at Lawrence North High School, right before Thanksgiving break.

He spoke for a little bit and then he showed us his camera toss that scared me to death!! Very cool!! Thank you Kevin!!

Okay- I have really LOVED watching my kids play a sport in the spring/summer time. This is HUGE for me since I have never let them sign up for a sport because of wedding photography on the weekends. I have missed a few games or rushed to shoot a wedding, but it has been worth every bit of stress. My kids rock! I am so glad I let go and signed them up for a sport.

I love how Owen looks back to us when he makes a play!

The FUNNIEST thing happened a few weeks ago. Some little 5 yr old showed up to play ball, wearing COWBOY boots!! No Lie!! Too cute!!!

Our season of baseball is going full force. Some weeks we have 3 to 5 games! I have 2 boys that play baseball. Here are a few images from Luke’s team. Luke’s best friend, Trevor broke his arm, so these photos are nice but they break my heart!!
